Sit Nat

Godot action game in a Burmese temple.

Now playing — Sit Nat

An action game prototype built in Godot 4.7. The first arena is a ruined Burmese temple courtyard lit by braziers, where the hero will face the Belu King Dathagiri.

Right now the hero can run, jump, sprint and swing a sword, and you can switch between a third-person and an isometric camera. Combat and the boss come next.

How It Works

The arena is built by a seeded Python script that places around 380 props, so the layout can be changed and rebuilt the same way every time. At load, repeated props are merged into batches, and a light manager decides which braziers get to cast shadows, which keeps the frame rate steady.

Key Features

  • Generated arena — a seeded script lays out the courtyard and its props
  • Two cameras — third-person mouse look or an isometric view that follows the hero
  • Custom shaders — flames, embers, glowing runes on the hero and a sword trail
  • Performance passes — prop batching, foliage LOD and a shadow budget for the lights
